Two BR (Derby) Suburban (later Class 125) 3-car dmu's Nos. E51156 (125/2), E59454 (185), E50990 (125/1) and E51159 (125/2), E59453 (185), E51005 (125/1) in Rail Blue livery with all yellow front ends leaving Broad Street on a Hitchin service, 04/69. Hugh Llewelyn.

A sleepy Saturday lunch-time at Broad Street on 6 July 1974; two 501s for Richmond and a 125 on a GN line working. Kevin Lane.

16th August 1975

Not the best of photos but included because it illustrates a long forgotten episode of dmu operation in London when a few services worked off the Great Northern at Finsbury Park and terminated at long gone Broad Street. This Cravens set is een on 16th August 1976. Ian Buck.

14th July 1984

The unusual sight of a Class 115 DMU (51875 visible) in London Broad Street station on 14/07/84. It had just terminated with the Fakenham & Dereham Railway Society's "Bucks & Oxon Freighter" railtour and would then have had a lengthy ECS move to return to its home depot at London Marylebone. Alongside mixed class 501 EMU set 147 formed 75161+70161+61147 sits stabled for the weekend. Adrian Nicholls.
